On 24th November 2015 at the Esplanade Recital Studio, Kris Foundation presented Musings of an Artist, featuring top Singaporean pianist Lim Yan in a delightful programme of Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert.
2006 Young Artist Award Recipient Lim Yan is a full-time faculty member of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music as Senior Lecturer in Collaborative Piano, as well as adjunct faculty at the School of the Arts, a position he has held since its inception in 2008. He is also the current Artistic Director of the Singapore International Piano Festival. A keen collaborative pianist and chamber musician, Lim has been part of the piano quintet series Take 5 since 2007. He performs regularly with violinist Lee Shi Mei, and has also worked with violinist Ning Feng and cellist Wang Jian in recital.
